Herbruck's Poultry Ranch donates school supplies

SARANAC — Michigan’s largest egg supplier helped Ionia County students get the school supplies needed to start the new academic year. 

Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch and its employees donated school supplies to Ionia Public Schools and Saranac Community Schools, according to a news release. The Saranac-based egg supplier gifted more than 50 bags of school supplies to the two districts. 

Supplies donated include pencils, markers, colored pencils, calculators, rulers, notebooks, binders, pens, highlighters and more. Herbruck’s also donated about two dozen backpacks for students.  

Herbruck’s employees and its leadership team donated the school supplies, per the release. 

“Herbruck’s is proud to help support local students and schools after a difficult couple of years during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said public and community relations manager Amy Herbruck. “We pride ourselves on being a good neighbor and are excited for students to have new supplies to start the school year off right.”
