Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch donates hundreds of thousands of eggs

SARANAC, Mich. – May is National Egg Month, and Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is continuing to serve its community through the donation of eggs.
To date in 2023, Herbruck’s, a fourth-generation family business, has donated 59,395-dozen eggs, which equals 712,740 eggs in total. The eggs were donated to dozens of community organizations in Michigan and Pennsylvania, where Blue Springs Egg Farm, Herbruck’s sustainable cage-free egg-laying facility, has begun egg production.
“Herbruck’s is very proud of our consistent contributions to the community, including the donation of eggs to people and organizations in need,” said Amy Herbruck, community and public relations manager at Herbruck’s. “We are well on our way to beating our egg donation record and hope to continue growing our egg donations in the coming years.”
Herbruck’s has consistently donated more than 1 million eggs per year, including hitting its record high number of egg donations in 2022 at 2.2 million eggs. Donations are made mostly to local and regional charities and nonprofits, and the number of eggs donated continues to grow each year.
One of Herbruck’s core values is being a good neighbor, and donating eggs to needy members of the community is one way Herbruck’s works to put this value into action. Herbruck’s also donates funding and other resources to organizations for events and charitable activities year-round, beyond National Egg Month.
