Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch sponsoring local school supply donation drive

MERCERSBURG, Pa., July 15, 2024 – Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch, operator of Blue Springs Egg Farm, is sponsoring school supply donations for local students and encouraging the community to get involved.

Herbruck’s is a sponsor of Stuff the Bus with United Way of Franklin County, an annual school supply drive that collects needed school supplies to be used by students at all five school districts in Franklin County. The drive begins on July 15 and runs through July 31.

“We are proud to sponsor Stuff the Bus so Franklin County students and educators will have what they need to succeed during the upcoming school year,” said Meghan Nutt, human resources manager at Blue Springs Egg Farm. “Herbruck’s prides itself on being a good neighbor to the communities we serve, and we hope our entire community will get involved in this important effort.”

Donations to Stuff the Bus can be made online or in person. The most urgent needs, according to the organizers, are headphones and earbuds, colored printer paper, folders, binders and composition books. The drive will accept a variety of other supplies, including:

  • Notebooks and paper
  • Calculators
