SARANAC, Mich. – Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch again helped ensure West Michigan residents had a hot, delicious meal on Thanksgiving.
The company, a fourth-generation family business, is continuing its annual support of two local organizations that work to organize meals for those experiencing homelessness and free meal deliveries in Saranac.
“For generations, our family has made it our mission to help others and be a good neighbor to the communities we serve,” said Amy Herbruck, community relations manager at Herbruck’s. “We applaud the organizations in our community that lead these initiatives and consider it a privilege to take part in efforts that help members of our community who may not otherwise have a warm meal during the holiday season.”
Herbruck’s for years has been a sponsor of Mel Trotter Ministries’ free Thanksgiving Community Meal, which took place on Thanksgiving Day. Leaders from Herbruck’s also volunteered during the event. This year Herbruck’s also sponsored free meal deliveries to residents of Saranac in an effort held by the Saranac Community Association.
Sponsoring events that help the communities it serves is just one way Herbruck’s works to be a good neighbor, especially during the holiday season. In October, Herbruck’s team members collected and donated 5,000 food items to local charitable organizations in Michigan and Pennsylvania, where the company operates Blue Springs Egg Farm. Herbruck’s also donates more than 2 million eggs annually to organizations that help people in need.
Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is a fourth-generation family farm based in Saranac, Michigan. Herbruck’s is the largest egg producer in Michigan and has locations in Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania. For more information about Herbruck’s, visit: www.herbrucks.com.
