For decades the Herbruck family has been supplying farm-fresh eggs to major retailers and food service outlets across the nation. Today’s business was founded by Harry and Marilyn Herbruck in Ionia County, Michigan — just east of Grand Rapids — in 1958, with roots stretching back to the late 1920s. Happy 2nd anniversary Blue Springs! 🎉🐔🥚 This week we celebrate the growth of our cage-free, egg-laying facility Blue Springs Egg Farm, in Mercersburg, PA which began operations in 2022. Since then, 1.2 million egg-laying hens have produced eggs, and 210 people have been hired for good-paying jobs supplying eggs to the northeast US.
